The Blooming Rose is Be Our Guest's Grey Stuff dessert: a red rose dome with gold flakes and droplet details over the Grey Stuff, a cookies-and-cream mousse, on chocolate cake. The reviewer liked the look, but the red rose coating tasted waxy and tainted the whole dessert, and the Grey Stuff on its own lacked the rich cookies-and-cream flavor she remembered. She was disappointed and wished she had ordered the crème brûlée tart instead.
