Making Magical Adventures gave this an explicit five out of five and said they never expected to speak so highly of a matcha drink at the Disneyland Resort. They drank it without a straw so the layers stayed intact, describing the top as tasting like strawberry milk - a Nesquik comparison they mean fondly - with the matcha arriving at the very end. Their advice is to drink it as served rather than stirring it, since the unmixed flow from strawberry to matcha is what makes it work.

Just Imagine's self-described matcha lover calls the Strawberry Matcha Latte at Pym Test Kitchen one of her favourite drinks and a must-try. The strawberry cold foam tastes like melted strawberry ice cream, and together with the condensed milk drizzle and the strawberry wafers the whole drink comes across like creamy strawberry matcha ice cream - very sweet, but not too sweet. She would have liked a bit more matcha bitterness; the matcha is on the safe, sweeter side, which they say makes it a good pick for people who aren't big on matcha. Her co-host, who prefers sweeter drinks, found it really good as well.

Ordinary Adventures called this absolutely perfect. An iced matcha under strawberry cold foam with strawberry sugar wafers and a strawberry condensed milk drizzle, and their tip is to drink it without the straw so you get the foam. They found it very refreshing, without a strong matcha flavour, tasting more like strawberry milk with a touch of green tea, and importantly not overly sweet.

Matcha with strawberry cold foam, topped with strawberry sugar wafers and a strawberry condensed milk drizzle. Sipped from the top it's essentially strawberry milk; the matcha only really comes through once you drink it through the straw, and she thinks the matcha powder quality isn't the best — grainy, and not very strong. Her verdict: basically strawberry milk with a hint of matcha, on the sweeter side, and not bad, but as an everyday matcha drinker she wishes it leaned harder into the matcha; she'd pick the honeycomb matcha drink at Chimneys over this one for a stronger matcha flavor.
