The dessert spread on this visit included a chocolate pot de creme, an African blondie, hummingbird cake, malva bread pudding and a mousse. The malva bread pudding was the showstopper, chocolatey with what tasted like brownie in it, and both hosts gave it a 9 and called it the best sweet of the meal. The pot de creme with its tropical cream, the moist hummingbird cake and the mousse each scored 8, while the dry, textured blondie got a 7.
