Bluefin tuna, winter yellowtail and jack served over ice with cubes of soy sauce jelly, filmed on the December 2024 winter menu. The presentation impressed the host, and she really enjoyed the soy jelly, but the fish itself disappointed: the bluefin lacked its usual buttery richness, the shiso leaf underneath overpowered the yellowtail, and the jack had an unpleasant crunchy texture. She said she had had better sashimi elsewhere, including at Shiki-Sai upstairs.
