Ordinary Adventures sought this out at Bayside Brews in DCA, where it is poured as a pickle lager brewed for the park. It smells strongly of pickle before the first sip - as though pickle jar brine had been mixed into beer. The host's reaction was immediate approval: oddly refreshing, with a genuinely sour finish going down. Her point in its favour is that flavoured beers are usually a gimmick that does not deliver the flavour promised, whereas this unmistakably tastes like a dill pickle. Her reservation was that finishing a whole one might be hard going. She rated it four out of five and recommended it to anyone who likes pickles and a light lager. Her co-host, who likes neither beer nor pickles, could not get through more than a sip.
