Bear tried the limited-time Sam Eagle Star-Spangled Shortcake, topped with whipped cream, star sprinkles and a Sam Eagle chocolate medallion. He expected whole berries but found mostly a liquid berry sauce that left the whipped cream melting and the cake falling apart, and rated it below the Columbia Harbor House shortcake.
