Princess and the Bear tried the new butternut squash soup, poured tableside over vegetables with micro cilantro and pumpkin seeds. Both found it thin and watery rather than rich and thick, with Bear calling it butternut swamp water, and they scored it 2.5 and 2 out of 5. Afterwards the chef told them the emulsion is meant to be stirred in for creaminess, which they missed, so they said it may deserve a second try.
