Disney Food Blog tried the Potato Pierogi at Festival Favorites in CommuniCore Hall, a former Poland booth classic served with kielbasa, caramelized onions and sour cream. Theirs came out pretty dry, with tough kielbasa and not nearly enough sour cream to make up for it. They called it a swing and a miss, while noting batches vary.

Sam enjoyed it more than she expected: the pierogi were soft with a nice texture, and the kielbasa had a tough skin but was juicy and savory inside, with a little sweetness from the onions. She gave it a good 7 out of 10, though she couldn't go higher against more elevated festival items. Jay said they taste like freezer-section pierogi, liked the kielbasa more than the pierogi, and found them saturated in juices with no crispiness, the tray unable to hold it all and too little sour cream to taste. He went 6, calling it okay, not a must get, and not really a festival favorite, though fans of freezer pierogi will like it.
WrightDownMainStreet picked up the $5.99 Potato Pierogi with kielbasa, caramelized onions and sour cream at Festival Favorites during the Food & Wine Festival. She had compared the pierogi to frozen ones in a past year, but found them an improvement this time: really soft, with fresh-tasting dough, a good chew and a pretty good potato filling, and they looked tossed in butter with a little crust. The kielbasa was nice and smoky and nicely charred, and the portion was decently large. Her verdict was that it is pretty good and a good value.
