The Princess found the pasta perfectly al dente but the portion smaller than expected and the sauce reminiscent of festival pasta, starting at 2.75 out of 5 before it grew on her and rose to 3.75. The Bear liked how the spice added flavour and character rather than real heat, calling it a good lunch pasta at 4.25 out of 5.
