Monte Cristo and Seasonal Salad

If you like sweet and savory, you’ll enjoy this. I personally felt like it was a little too much. It’s basically a big powdered-sugar doughnut stuffed with meat and cheese. You get 3 half sandwiches and they are huge. There’s a vanilla sauce that comes with them that tasted pretty good. The salad, on the other hand, was pretty bad. It tasted like grass with fruit on top. overall, this menu item is pretty ok. If you’re really hungry then it’s a good idea. I won’t find myself craving this later but it was a nice dining experience. The Blue Bayou is my favorite restaurant for the location, not the monte cristo.
