Magic Journeys went back to Edelweiss Snacks for the new apple crisp version of the Matterhorn Puff, which replaces the lemon cheesecake filling with cinnamon apples and cream under icing and sugar. Miguel likened the bite to an eclair, said the cream cheese and apple filling tastes "very good" and a little sweeter, and loved the crunch of the sugar on top. His bottom line: he would definitely get it again.

5 reviewsA split decision for Mix In Some Magic's family, scoring 3, 7.3 and 8 out of 10. The host describes it as a puff-pastry cream puff with apple filling — something like an éclair filling combined with apple pie filling — and thought it was good, as did another taster who said it would have been in the nines had there been enough cream inside. The 3 came from the youngest critic, to the audible surprise of everyone else at the table.
Ordinary Adventures scored the Halloween version of the Matterhorn Puff four and a half out of five on their first ever try of one. They describe a pastry closer to a spiral croissant stuffed with apple cinnamon pie filling, and singled out the cool cream inside as welcome relief on a hot day. Their summary was that it is something they did not know they wanted, and they are already curious what the Christmas version will be.
The Matterhorn Puff is a large, donut-like cream puff shaped like the Matterhorn mountain. It's filled with cheesecake, lemon curd, and blueberries, and topped with white chocolate and powdered sugar. The texture is delightful and the filling not too sweet. Highly recommended.
The Matterhorn Puff is a large, snow-sugar-coated puff filled with cheesecake, lemon curd, and fresh blueberries. The outer layer is crunchy, while the filling is smooth and creamy. He finds the blueberries to be firm and delicious, making it a great shared treat.
