A plant-based plate of chickpea falafel, roasted beet hummus and a beet, tomato and cucumber relish with garlic sauce and grilled pita, at $13.29. The reviewer found the falafel nicely fried if a little dry, with a hint of warm spice, and said the beet hummus is a step above plain hummus and helps with the dryness. She wished there were more of the relish, but loved the colorful plating and said she will definitely get it again.

2 reviewsThe new plant-based entree: falafel with beet hummus, a tomato-cucumber relish with beets, a purple sauce and grilled pita. The vegan host feared the falafel would be dense but found it really moist, with coriander giving it an unexpected Mediterranean flair, and gave it 4 out of 5. Her co-host liked how the earthy, semi-sweet beet hummus worked with the falafel and called it a worthy, though not quite as good, replacement for the old dish, also at 4.
