Magic Journeys came back to Rancho del Zocalo for this returning plate and found the shredded beef seasoned and marinated perfectly - tender, flavorful, and topped with a house salsa carrying a moderate kick they put at about a 6 out of 10 for heat. Their reservations were about the build rather than the flavor: sitting under the warmers dries the corn tortillas out, so they tore and fell apart when picked up, and the hosts wished for a side bar of onions, cilantro and radishes to finish them. They were glad the plate now arrives with rice and beans instead of chips, which they felt finally completes the meal. Their bottom line: overall, very tasty.
