Chili Cheese Fries

Making Magical Adventures scored this a flat five out of five at Stage Door Cafe. They describe it as deliberately plain-looking — fries under chili, shredded cheese, sour cream and green onions — and say that sometimes simple is all you need. On tasting, the chili is called really good and not spicy at all, the green onions add a bit of zing, and the sour cream pulls it together; the reviewer says it hits all the perfect flavor profiles and that there is really nothing to complain about. A classic they were happy to have ordered.

SoCal Disney Dad went in skeptical on this one - it's just fries and chili - and came away won over. He called the fries good and the chili good, and the only knock he could find was that the fries go a bit soggy under all that chili, which he shrugged off as exactly what you'd expect. His bottom line on the new Halloween items at The Golden Horseshoe: go for it.

Not bad. Just your basic chili cheese fry. Could use some more cheese. It doesn't have that Walt's chili vibe
