Lisaland rated this a shade better than her friend, who had tried it first and called it just fine. She singles out the caramelised apple filling as delicious, but the cheesecake around it is the problem: it carries only a little caramel flavour and does not taste much like cheesecake either. More caramel flavour, she says, would have improved it. She also finds the caramel drip on top a little unappealing to look at. She ranked it second of the four Jolly Holiday items she tasted.

The most detailed verdict came with a clear caveat: it would have been an 8, but there is not enough filling in it, and without the filling it is not very good. Nobody in the group was especially taken with it, and it finished as one of the weaker items in their Jolly Holiday dessert round.
A Jolly Holiday sleeper - Magic Journeys hadn't tried this one before and didn't even see it on the food guide. It's creamy, with real apple pieces and cinnamon inside, closer to an apple pie and a cheesecake collaborating than to anything orange-flavored. They rated it their second-favorite treat of the day. One note: the chocolate bat the description promises never showed up on theirs.
