At Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, Ordinary Adventures ordered the Beamed-up Burger: two pressed patties, American cheese, shredded lettuce, jalapeno-bourbon-bacon jam and house burger sauce. Both said the jam is the star, sweet with a little spice and umami. One host found the patties on the well-done side and the burger otherwise pretty forgettable, gave it three and a half out of five, then knocked off half a point because the generic fries replaced the old steak fries. The other liked the smashed patties and soft bun and gave it 4.25 out of five, but agreed you come to Sci-Fi Dine-In for the vibes and theming more than the food. It came last in their ten-burger ranking.
