Slow-roasted beef with caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, Swiss, horseradish sauce and au jus. Alan likes dipping in both the jus and the horseradish, which adds needed bite. The meat quality is fine and better than he's had here before, and the bread is sturdy enough to soak up the jus. But it's sweet, which he didn't expect from a savory sandwich and found a little off-putting. Otherwise one of the better items he's had on this menu; the arugula side salad was just bitter.
